Bell Puig is a collection of residences that reimagines the concept of living. Each dwelling follows the gentle contours of the slope upon which it sits giving each home a sense of privacy and detachment from its neighbours.
From the large garage in the basement to the welcoming communal lobby on the ground floor, residents then ascend to one of five intelligently designed individual units, each with its own private garden or terrace and pool. Set across five floors, two duplex, one lateral and two triplex penthouse configurations are well equipped with bespoke features including high end appliances, solid wood finishing, local natural stone, sweeping glass doors, top quality bathroom fittings and hardwood decking.
Understated elegance runs as a theme throughout with precise northern European design ethics in the architecture and detailing complemented by a southern flair for the good life in the allocation of space with priority placed on al fresco living in each of the residences.
House by Sanz takes a considered approach to each new property’s design and the level of detail is apparent from plan to finish. Bell Puig is handsomely appointed with a full suite of amenities that have been curated with the location, climate and living conditions firmly at the fore. From the entrance, lobby and communal spaces to the private terraces and cosy quarters, each new element is the culmination of a rigorous research phase intended to make life for the residents as effortless and enjoyable as possible.
There is a Mallorquin blue that is particular to the island. You will find it in the haze between the ocean and the sky and there is a spot on the western flank of the Bay of Palma where that blue is brightest, a spot where the sea and sky are as clear as gin. Cas Català, a chic neighbourhood not far from the centre of the city, is gaining a reputation for a clutch of independent retailers, authentic local eateries and a multitude of activities from maritime exploits to hidden spots and corners of natural beauty.
Anchored by the Maricel hotel – a premium property famed for its spa and culinary credentials – Cas Català is a short walk from the masts and moorings of Calanova port and within putting distance of the Bendinat golf course, one of Mallorca’s most sought after memberships. Some of Mallorca’s best and least crowded beaches are also found just minutes from the area. The neighbourhood’s 365-day metabolism is a boon when the temperatures dip and the allure of island life and that particular Mallorquin blue remain.
House by Sanz was founded when we – three siblings previously working as an interior designer, a marketing director and a banker – realised that our combined complementary talents would help turn our shared pastime of renovating buildings into a full service family business. With the simple mission to improve people’s lives with exceptional, design-driven, family-focused living, we place value on people, places and products in our unique approach to each new project.
Connoisseurs of good living, we are committed to creating homes with a lasting aesthetic and employing deep local knowledge for a demanding clientele. We believe our involvement extends further than that of traditional developers, we instead consider ourselves authors of our projects which is apparent in the level of detail and tireless dedication at every step.
Acclaimed for his sympathetic renovations of listed buildings and striking contemporary residential projects that are found across Mallorca and the Iberian peninsula, we commissioned architect Alejandro von Waberer for his southern character and local intelligence combined with a northern European precision and understanding of systems and process seemingly inherited from his Mexican and German parentage.
